Questions frequently asked about New Construction
Debra:
Hey guys, this is Debra. I’m about ready to do a final walkthrough on new construction. I wanted to give you a quick tour before the buyers get here. We’re actually in the new home subdivision, you can see the construction going on behind me. The buyers chose me to be their agent, and I’m glad they did, they’re thrilled that they did also. People think you don’t need your own representation when you’re a new construction, but yes you do. We encourage inspections on the property at different stages of the construction, and the inspector found a couple things that needed the builders’ attention, and they were able to do that because they had some code issues that needed to be addressed.

So, let’s walk through this little bit and you can see what we’re going through. Of course, you always have a punch list at the end, which we’ve finished up working on today for the final walkthrough before closing. You can see it’s a really beautiful home, very open, they’re going to love this for their family. I really like the conference ceilings and the dining room. But again, anytime you’re buying property, buying a home, it’s worth an investment to have your own agent and get all the inspections that you need, because it’s one of the biggest purchases you will ever make.

We’ve had some great builders working with us, and we really appreciate all they did to make this a lovely home for this family. So just a quick brief view of what we do on a daily basis, and if you’re looking to purchase a home, we’d love for you to give me a call and let me see how I can help you. Have a great day and a great weekend.
